Job Summary

Do you have a passion for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience? Quaker Steak & Lube is looking for a Restaurant Manager who is dedicated, ambitious and seeks opportunities to grow their career. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee front-of-house operations, make sure great food and service is delivered to our guests, and manage all front-of-house employees.

Responsibilities

The position of Restaurant Manager is a fast-paced role that manages the daily front-of-house operations, including:

Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction

Overseeing the cleanliness of the restaurant and the safety of guests at all times

Enforcing applicable liquor laws and responsible service guidelines

Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food-handling procedures

Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training front-of-house staff

All other duties as assignedQualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 1 year of prior management experience in family or casual dining is preferred

ServSafe Food Manager Certification is preferred

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills

Strong planning, problem-solving, and organization skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
