More about the role

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Industrial Gases Business as a Contracts Manager at our facility in Karshi, Uzbekistan.

You will be part of a team, reporting directly to the General Manager. You will work with him to ensure the safe, legal, reliable, and efficient operation of the production plant at Karshi.

LOCATION: Karshi, Uzbekistan

EDUCATION: technical graduate degree

EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years of commercial/contract management experience

As the Contracts Manager, you will have:

Primary responsibility for ensuring the ASPA (Agreement for the Sale and Purchase of Industrial Gases Facilities), Coordination Agreement, Tolling Services Agreement, Implementation Agreement and TSA (Transitional Services Agreement) agreements associated with the Karshi UzGTL assets are managed effectively. The contractual arrangements between the GTL and AP are complex with further agreements detailing parties’ obligations (e.g. Collateral Warranty Agreement, Side Letter to Collateral Warranty Agreement, Sasol sub-license Agreement, Presidential Decree) which are in scope for this role

Accountability to generate the monthly customer invoices as detailed in the agreements

Proactively resolve invoicing concerns between the supplier and customer

Management of customer, supplier and other external parties relationships

Coordination responsibility for commercial activities associated with the Operations, Technical Support team, Maintenance team, Decision Support, Accounting and any other internal functional groups for the contracts owned.

As the Contracts Manager, you already have:

Excellent communication skills, strong sales/commercial background, and experience administering complex commercial contracts.

An understanding of the Oil and Gas Uzbek landscape is an advantage however the ability and desire to learn about this industry sector is just as desirable.

Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Technical graduate degree

5-10 years of commercial/contract management experience.
