Job Description: Omega Contractor's is currently looking for a Site Superintendent. Pay based on experience-certifications, licenses and endorsements

Qualifications for electrical superintendent

Job related electrical systems technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Open shop self perform experience

Experience in the Automation Industry

5 or more years of experience in Refining maintenance or engineering

Responsible for ensuring round the clock efficient operations for electrical area

Manages the resources and activities for the electrical area or process assigned

Responsibilities for electrical superintendent

Produce various reports

Identify hiring needs and participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions as needed

Coordinates work and interfaces effectively with other craft superintendents and subcontractors, staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence

Advises senior level supervision and project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, and other potential issues

Directing the electrical site team with the leadership and assistance of the greater Construction team

Ensuring safety and health compliance in regards to electrical aspects

Undertake inspection, fault finding and root cause analysis of failures and making recommendations to rectify

Provide electrical technical expertise

Maintaining a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices so as to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
