Job Description

Essential Functions

Designing and developing responsive websites using the WebFlow platform

Translating and execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering with a focus on user experience and interactivity

Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks

Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas

Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code within WebFlow platform and apply/enforce accessibility standards to all work

Proficient in actively using Finsweet tools, best practices, and using client-first coding methodology (source)

Identify and resolve bugs, issues, or inconsistencies in the design or functionality via the website or mobile sites

Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance

Manage, maintain and create multi types of pages, while managing multiple web development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and page optimization

Continue to establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and brand standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field

Must be proficient in Responsive Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Webflow Platform, HTML/CSS, Basic Javascript, or other visual design and wire-framing toolsDemonstrable graphic design skills with strong portfolio

Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps

Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

Proficient in coding in REM units (not PX)

Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools

Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
