Our client, a reputable CPA firm, is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant who is a CPA candidate to join their team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing tax advice and guidance to clients, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual and business tax returns

Research and interpret tax laws and regulations

Assist with tax planning and strategies

Communicate with clients to provide tax advice and guidance

Ensure accurate and timely tax filing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Currently pursuing CPA certification or already a CPA candidate

2+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a CPA firm

Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $60,000 - $70,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
