Job Description
Our market is looking for a Butcher apprentice to join our team. In this position, you will be working under our head Butchers to pre-cut and package meat, make specific cuts for customers, and answer any questions customers may have about our selection. You are also responsible for keeping your area clean and sanitized with disinfectant. Health and safety management is a major part of your job. While you are not responsible for cooking the meat, you should have some culinary arts experience so you can advise customers on how to prepare basic poultry, beef, or pork dishes.
