Systems/Network Engineer for local IT Managed Services Provider

Important: We are only considering candidates who live local to central Ohio.

What we look for in a Systems/Network Engineer -- Can configure and support Local and Wide area networks, configure network peripherals (Cisco, Ubiquity, Fortinet and Meraki), troubleshooting communications and support network based systems. Also would need experience configuring Windows Servers and related systems/solutions (SQL Server, O365, Sharepoint, Exchange, etc). Desirable are some basic skills around advanced technical tools in areas of virtualization, networking or storage. Able to work advise clients on IT decisions to support their businesses.

Desired skills:

- LAN/WAN Engineering

- Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022

- Fortinet

- Meraki

- VLANs

- MPLS/DSL/T1/etc

- HyperV and VMWare

- Connectwise Manage, Automate/Labtech and ScreenConnect

- SIEM Tools such as Stratozen

- Azure and InTune

We fill the role of the outsourced IT department for over 50 small to mid-sized businesses mostly based in Central Ohio. We manage our client's technology assets, deploy and upgrade systems and provide soup to nuts systems support. We operate a business hours helpdesk and provide on call support along with engineering and VCTO services.
