Position: Quality Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Hourly Salary: $35.73
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 4 on, 3 off; 3 off 4 on schedule
While reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, as a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external are met or exceeded. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct required off-line testing and audits for products to meet customer expectations
Ensure customer returns are checked in and feedback is completed on-time
Assist in analyzing customer returns
Participate in customer visits when required
Able to interpret information and data to apply team concepts
Maintain the lab cleanliness, put up retains, maintain job jackets
We’d love to hear from you if:
You possess at least 2 years quality experience
Packing and warehousing experience is extremely helpful
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Works overtime as required
Able to collaborate effectively with all employees
