Job Description

Job Summary: Electrical Design Engineer needed with specialization in power conversion products, analog circuits and switch-mode power electronics design.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years experience designing power conversion products.

Proficient in designing and troubleshooting analog circuits and switch-mode power electronics.

Experience with magnetics including power transformers and filters.

Prior experience designing to environmental requirements such as RTCA DO-160 or similar aerospace, military, or commercial standards.

Proficiency with PADS or similar schematic capture, and PCB layout software.

Familiarity with PSpice or LTSpice simulation tools.

Experience with Design for Manufacture and Design for Test (DFM & DFT).

Preferred Skills:

Ability to build and troubleshoot hardware including soldering operation of test equipment.

Willingness to work in both office and test lab environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Creating schematics and directing PCB layout using PADs.

Building and troubleshooting hardware, which includes soldering, operation of test equipment.

Daily work in both office and test lab environments required.

Creating and documenting designs in required formats, including BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
