Job Description
Summary: Seeking a CNC Lead with experience in operating CNC milling machines, understanding blueprints, and the capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Requirements:
Must bring personal tools such as indicators, micrometers, calipers, allen wrenches, etc.
Responsible for general maintenance on the machine.
May need to schedule machine maintenance and order special cutters when needed.
Proficiency in running and operating CNC milling machines using machine control panel.
Understanding of software and programming using 2D and solid files.
Knowledge of injection molds and their operation necessary for machining steel details and graphite electrode to precise tolerances.
Ability to read and understand blueprints; measuring mold and tooling components while machining these components within .0002 tolerances is essential.
Understanding of the EDM process in order to make undersized electrodes and coordinate move sheets required.
Responsibilities:
Will work alongside employees while managing their day-to-day workflow.
Scheduling work for the CNC, EDM, wire departments will be part of the job role.
Might assist in training other people on machining, software, set-ups.
Keeping machines and personal bench area neat and orderly is a responsibility that comes with this role.
Should be able to lift up to 60 lbs. safely.
May need to operate standard tool room equipment: Manual surface grinders, wet grinders, Bridgeport type milling machines, lathes, most machine shop hand tools.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
