EA/Research Assistant – Amazing Private Equity Firm
A phenomenal Private Equity firm in MIDTOWN EAST with a down to earth, professional company culture that values employees and offers a fun work environment is looking for a dynamic Research/Executive Assistant to join their team!
This research-focused Executive Assistant position will work alongside a Portfolio Manager + team, and has room to grow into a non-support role down the line. Candidates must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $75-100k base DOE + discretionary bonus + incredible benefits
Seeking 1-3 years of administrative, research, or other relevant experience
Hybrid schedule: 4 days/week in office, typically Fridays remote
Hours: 8am – 5pm, with flexibility to check emails after hours
Key functions may include:
Driving internal and external meeting calendars, performing calendar management for the PM and other team members
Booking travel, including flights, itineraries, car services, accommodations etc.
Logging corporate access and broker interactions
Participating in investment team meetings daily
Providing occasional personal requests from the PM
Providing relevant investment sector contributions
The ideal candidate should be:
Skilled in time management with the ability to balance multiple tasks
Motivated to improve research and administrative procedures
Looking to advance their career in finance
Driven by intellectual curiosity
Confident in their ability to collaborate with senior management
Skills and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Proactive approach to follow up, anticipating concerns
2+ years’ experience of administrative or research experience, preferably out of finance (hedge fund, private equity, etc)
