Part Time Interpreter/Translator

Job Description

Summary: Looking for a Part-Time Interpreter/Translator specialized in Japanese and English for remote simultaneous interpretation and occasional translation tasks.

Job Requirements:

4-year college degree with a few years of experience or at least 5 years of interpretation experience if no college degree.

Experience in Japanese/English simultaneous interpretation (both directions: Japanese to English and English to Japanese).

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work irregular evening-shift hours, approximately 4 to 5 hours/day, from 5:00 to 10:00 PM except Fridays.

Capable of supporting occasional morning meetings.

Proficiency in both Japanese and English, ensuring smooth and easy understanding.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide accurate simultaneous interpretation remotely for meetings.

Translate documents accurately and quickly when necessary.

Adapt working hours according to meeting schedules while trying to maintain approximately 20 hours per week.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour
