Job Description

MAU is hiring a Dealer Development Manager at our client in a remote role. As a Dealer Development Manager, you will ensure dealers are capable of fully selling and supporting products in service to agreed standards of infrastructure and resource while managing and implementing dealer rooftops in line with the dealer roof top readiness plan. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience

Educated to degree level or equivalent; OR

Equivalent level of experience

3+ years of managing, guiding, and mentoring experience

Strong track record in Capital equipment sales

Experience of using back-office tools to generate internal business reportsGeneral Requirements

Proven ability to guide customers to specify and select the correct product(s)

Good all-around knowledge of the US Commercial vehicle, Waste & Recycling sector

Strong negotiation skills

Ability to present and sell at Board level without supervision

Ability to motivate colleagues in order to achieve company aims and targets

Willingness to be a team player and strong communicator

Ability to motivate colleagues through a culture of help and encouragement

Self-motivation with a desire to succeed

High levels of personal professional conduct and communications internally and externally

Enthusiastic personality with the ability to forge long-term relationships internally and externally

Flexibility to manage deadlines

Ability to work in an organized/communicate in an effective and efficient manner with minimal supervision

Willingness to work from home, away from home (nights away), and various locations as and when requiredPreferred Requirements

Experience of managing Commercial Dealers

Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems

Experience of working at SMT level

Firm understanding of relevant business/sales qualifications (including vocational)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and TeamsEssential Functions

Manage Dealers to ensure that there’s an effective quality process in place to inspect the integrity of body builder installations, conduct thorough Dealer PDI’s before delivery to end user customers including the Dealer making sure that all campaign works are completed ahead of delivery

Ensure that Dealers are compliant with our Dealer Handbook process for returning PDI documents to DE and completing and submitting the Warranty Registration Document

Directly support the company’s agreed dealer annual plans

Promote the company’s product portfolio to both private and public sector organizations through dealer structure

Actively participate in practical product demonstrations

Guide and support the Aftermarket Manager to ensure company aims are achieved

Adopt a management style that is friendly, inclusive, and supportive

Become an integral member of the SMT

Regularly meet and provide reports on Dealer, customer, and competitor activity line manager

Work with, and have close links with other areas of the business and promote DEI in a positive manner

Employ an entrepreneurial approach seeking opportunities in all business aspects

Develop the customer base to increase in profit

Ensure all activities sensibly harmonize the commercial goals set out whilst maximizing customer satisfaction

Raise the profile of customer service ethos at all levels internally and through dealers

Establish key performance indicators

Support the process of researching for future vehicle requirements and new potential business opportunities

Accept accountability for performance including that of the overall business as a team player

Work closely with the President and Director with the aim of meeting the overall targets of the business

Create and develop new strategies to enhance the performance Dealers

Provide customers and colleagues with key knowledge and advice

Identify and build on trends within relevant sectors

Recommend, promote, and attend trade shows to support Dealer activities

Support all Dealers and staff, and recognize them for their efforts
