Summary: Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler to manage workload and capacity planning, production goals, and material requirements for efficient production processes.
Job Requirements:
Degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing planner/scheduler role.
Experience with optics or highly precise product lines is a significant advantage.
Technical proficiency with ERP systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
Responsibilities:
Develop a 10 to 12-week workload versus capacity comparison for all work centers to help level load production and estimate labor requirements.
Establish goals and plans for production in Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, Marking, and Cleaning to meet customer delivery requirements.
Analyze sales order releases with regard to capacity planning and material requirements.
Coordinate with the machine shop manager for scheduling to meet part availability requirements.
Work with the production and shipping supervisor to resolve scheduling issues.
Maintain and update shortage and backorder reports and other related reports as required.
Interact with manufacturing personnel and management daily to resolve issues concerning manufacturing efficiencies or to provide additional information requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
