Responsibilities:

1. Independently plan, execute and deliver multiple Value analysis/Value engineering projects, product Design & Development, Strong knowledge of Sheetmental design & processes with respective project evidence.

2. Prepare calculations, technical reports to substantiate designs and decisions

3. Evaluate product designs, create and revise drawings for compliance with engineering principles, Pentair standards, customer requirements, existing manufacturing capabilities and related specifications.

4. Drive lessons learned, best practices and standardization into drawings, specifications and processes.

5. Organize and participate in design reviews within local team and MNC Client teams.

6. Work with the co-ordination of Client/Paradise engineers, quality teams, manufacturing engineers, sourcing, suppliers, field support and others to improve product quality and customer experience.

7. Plan, perform and document validation testing for all stages of projects.

8. Drive technical root cause analysis of field failures and identify corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Skills:

1. Strong fundamentals of mechanical engineering, solid mechanics, hydraulics and design principles

2. Real-world hands-on experience in design calculations, tolerance stacks, DFMEA,GD&T

3. Real-world hands-on experience of SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drawings

4. Strong problem solving and process troubleshooting capability (Six Sigma, 5S, DMAIC, DFSS tools)

5. Plastic products- Design principles and Manufacturing process knowledge

6. Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability/ Design for Assembly

7. Experience in materials selection

8. Strong written & spoken communication skills to enable collaboration with global stakeholders.
