Minimum requirements:
Qualification in Food Science, Fisheries Science, or related field (preferred)
Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, PCQI) highly desirable
Previous experience in food safety management, preferably in the fisheries industry
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards applicable to the fisheries sector will be an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits.
Problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to food safety challenges and crises
