Corporate Lawyer

We are looking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer to join our client team.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a bank offering banking services to international corporate clients and is located in Sliema, Malta.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handling all corporate matters of their Maltese registered companies.

Company secretary role and duties of their Maltese registered companies and committees.

Support various teams by reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and advising Management on how to best approach.

Analyse the legal implications of various issues across all companies and advising Management thereon.

Keep abreast with changes in the law and advising Management accordingly.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Warrant to practice as an Advocate in Malta.

3+ years of work experience.

Able to work on own initiative, multi-task and prioritise workload.

Highly organized, meticulous and focused.

Strong work ethic, pro-active and professional work attitude.

Very good command of the English and Maltese language.

EDUCATION

A Degree in Law.

Flexibility in starting time, from 06:30 till 09:00, 40 hours per week with 1 hour break daily.
