BDR is seeking a Sr. Contract Administrator/Contracts Manager to join our growing team! This position will be 100% virtual where the duties can be performed from a home office, however the ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region (NCR) working on EST time schedule. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. CA/CM to support a growing SDVOSB, help manage the day-to-day activities of the contract's portfolio, serve as a resource to the delivery team in interpreting funding requests, regulations, and requirements related to federal contract awards.

Responsibilities

Review and/or provide guidance in the review, administration and compliance of contracts, subcontracts, assistance agreements, teaming agreements, NDAs, and modifications.

Support negotiations including terms and conditions and executing contracts, subcontracts, and other pre- and post-award agreements for business, subsidiaries and joint ventures

Support full life-cycle vendor and subcontractor management efforts (vendor selection through closeout), as necessary.

Engage with federal contracting representatives and clients on matters related to terms and conditions, federal rules and regulations, and other compliance requests.

Work with Contracts Director to support, research and provide recommendations on full life-cycle contractual and compliance issues (pre-award through closeout).

Work with Contracts Director to assist in maintaining contract files and ensure contractual documents meet regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

Drafts contract letters, correspondence, and other communications.

Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records.

Serve as a central point of contact and company delegate in contractual award matters for assigned portfolio

Required Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires (or working towards a degree) a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience managing and administering federal awards, subcontracts, and proposals or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of common contract instruments, including CR, CPFF, FFP, T&M and IDIQ.

Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in working with large amounts of data.

Ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive demands and inquiries.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.

Experience working with Joint Venture related contract award activity.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Civilian agency experience including but not limited to: Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor, Department of Veterans Affairs, Administration of Children and Families, Social Security Administration, Department of Transportation, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Exposure to GSA Schedules, federal BPAs, and other contracting vehicles (GWAC and IDIQ).

Exposure to commercial terms and conditions, grants, cooperative agreements.

Experience with accounting products (Procas) such as Contracts and Purchasing Modules.

Experience recommending, reviewing, and negotiating multiple agreement types.

Demonstrated communication skills.

Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients.

Organization skills, including time management ability.

Data & Detail oriented.

In addition, U.S Citizenship is required.
