Seasonal Tax Reviewer

Salary:

HintonBurdick CPAs and Advisors, a leading regional certified public accounting firm, is seeking a Seasonal Senior Professional Staff Accountant responsible for reviewing tax returns. This is an hourly seasonal position that coincides with IRS tax deadlines (February - April, and August to October)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize tax software to review returns

Research and consult on various tax matters

Provide review notes and training to help educate junior staff and interns

Provide timely, accurate, high-quality review work that meets or exceeds expectations

Review tax returns for more complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate clients

Requirements

CPA license or working toward obtaining a CPA license

3+ years of tax season experience

Season

February - April & August - October

50+ hours during weeks leading up to deadlines

Preferences

Experience in CCH Axcess a plus

Previous public accounting experience a plus

History of developing and mentoring staff through review process

Efficent and accuracy minded.
