General Anesthesiologist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join an established anesthesia group in the picturesque Monterey, California area.

As a General Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services across a diverse range of specialties, including Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Cardiac, Thoracic, Pediatric, Vascular, ENT, Urologic, and Neurosurgical procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, ensuring safe and effective pain management.

Perform pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.

Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures.

Collaborate with the anesthesia team to provide optimal patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient information.

Key Details:

No high-risk OB or trauma cases.

The on-call schedule includes two first calls and two-second calls per month.

Opportunity to have 100% own cases.

Competitive annual compensation range of $500,000-$600,000 as a 1099 contractor.

Generous vacation allowance of 8-10 weeks.

Negotiable sign-on bonus.

Overtime is available.

Requirements:

Possession of a valid California medical license and relevant credentials is a plus.
