POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facilities Specialist will be responsible for responding to daily facilities requests as assigned by the Manager, Facilities & Security. Key responsibilities will include cleaning, safekeeping and servicing the office space. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, stocking paper, organizing meeting room set ups, performing maintenance throughout the premises as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct a daily/monthly office tour to check building systems and overall conditions of the premises

Set up desks for new associates and perform desk moves for current associates as approved by the Facilities Manager

Identify facilities maintenance issues and resolve in a timely manner

Manage equipment and supply needs

Work with brand leaders to manage inventory / purge / send to warehouse

Light to moderate lifting, carrying, and moving objects, including boxes and office furniture, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.

Assist with conference room and special event set up and break down

Cross training on reception and mailroom to provide support to these areas when necessary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

Prior commercial cleaning and handiwork experience

Ability to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously in a fast paced, customer service-oriented environment

Professional and detail-oriented team player

Strong self-starter and should be able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so

Strong organizational skills to think through processes to manage the work in efficient and effective ways

Must possess computer skills
