Job Description
As the part of our Industrial Communications team, the Foreman and another person travel to cellular sites throughout Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas to gather materials and equipment for recycling or reuse during site clean-up operations. This person needs to reside in Yuma, Wray or Holyoke.
Responsibilities
Perform materials clean-up and retrieval at cellular sites throughout our network
Load discarded materials onto truck for returns to warehouse
Drive long distances with overnight stays
Maintain relations with recycling businesses
Work with accounting for deposit of recycling checks and disposal of materials and equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, plus current driver’s license, and good driving record.
Able to travel outside of area including overnight travel.
Able to assist with loading heavy materials safely, and to utilize truck loading techniques and arrangement of load distribution.
Able to use basic hand tools. Shovels, pix axe, tamping bar, small power tools, etc.
Able to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
Able to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
Must be able to lift 100#.
Comfortable with working outdoors in all types of weather.
Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen screening.
Ability to communicate with employees, customers, and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Must have the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record for the past 3-5 years, valid driver's license, clean or acceptable criminal background check, and clean substance screening.
