May include:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse including staffing and assigned duties of all personnel are completed on a daily basis in a timely and safe manner. Review and approve hours worked and PTO using Kronos.

Responsible for building and maintaining morale in the warehouse by demonstrating leadership qualities and setting an example for staff, promoting teamwork both within the branch and local team. Develop employee’s skills and knowledge with proper training and guidance and assist them at reaching their full potential.

Stay current with part number and line codes. Conduct cycle counts and keeps dead stock at a minimum.

Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.

Process and document transactions and reports timely and accurately. (Cycle counts, inventory, driver records, safety incidents, damaged product, etc.)

Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment and employees complete pre and post shift forklift and truck inspections as well as reporting any concerns. Maintain equipment and fix or replace malfunctioning equipment/trucks.

Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficient warehouse operations.

Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and safe shipment of products.

Maintain working knowledge/understanding of company policies and procedures and employee handbook policies. Consult with Management and Human Resources for clarification as well as employee.

Identify and implement continuous improvement processes.

Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.

Assist with material handling at warehouse including lifting. May operate hand and power equipment for material handling to accommodate storage of products throughout warehouse. Load and unload trucks as needed.

Extensive knowledge of warehouse/inventory management

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to apply sound judgment.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook & Excel, Mincron and a Scanner

Proven customer service experience with high level of customer satisfaction; and positive relationship management skills

High quality customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers in a positive manner.

Ability to safely operate a forklift with a valid forklift operators’ certification – internal certification as well as train and certify warehouse associates and drivers.

Ability to keep the warehouse organized, well stocked and free from any safety or security hazards.

Ability to perform duties in a safe manner as well as follow safety protocols and regulations

Experience:

8 years in a warehouse or shipping environment

5 plus years in a leadership role

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

College degree strongly preferred
