The below is a position with ASPEQ Heating Group. ASPEQ Heating Group is a marketplace leader in innovative electric heating solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. With a portfolio that includes baseboard, wall, unit and infrared heaters as well as ceiling fans and air circulators, we create simplified heating solutions for our complex work.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. We are looking for a File Scanning Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to scan and digitize documents efficiently, ensuring accuracy and organization of files.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, organizing pages, and ensuring document quality.

Operate scanning equipment to convert physical documents into digital format.

Perform quality checks on scanned images to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Organize and categorize digital files according to prescribed file structures.

Ensure proper naming conventions and metadata tags are assigned to scanned files.

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information throughout the scanning process.

Assist with basic data entry tasks related to scanned documents.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

Familiarity with scanning equipment and software.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.

Strong organizational skills to categorize and label scanned files effectively.

Ability to work independently and meet scanning targets efficiently.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Prior experience with document scanning or data entry

Education & Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Environment

Temporary position through June 2024

Full-time/part-time hours, Monday to Friday.

Office-based work environment with scanning equipment.
