Overview:

The Scrum Master is the agile-savvy leader that will help to move our business forward to create dynamic digital experiences that drive efficiency and business results across Gallagher digital properties (including Salesforce and other Marketing systems). As part of the team, you will work alongside curious, self-driven critical thinkers who have an entrepreneurial mindset to create lasting value for our clients and organization on a global scale. Our team works smart by advancing data-lead experiences, embracing iterative product design and actively collaborating across the organization.

The primary focus of this role is to serve as the Scrum Master across multiple product teams. This person will work with product owners, development leads, design leads and data teams to launch and enhance digital applications that translate business needs into the appropriate web-based solutions. Good interpersonal skills with ability to engage all levels of the organization are critical to this role along with strong verbal and written communication. Experience in agile ceremonies, coaching, scrum metrics, and project management are fundamental. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and will have a mix of business, technical, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Facilitating all necessary team meetings (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/retrospectives, etc.)

Provide guidance and lead all agile ceremonies, including story estimation, sprint story management, retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies

Ensure understanding by all teams involved in scoping and sizing stories

Create and maintain an environment where all feedback is accepted and expected

Identifying, managing, and mitigating project issues and risks

Serve as the agile expert to assist team members with varying levels of knowledge of agile and sprint work

Continuously improve metrics as sprints progress to ensure transparency

Support and educate various product owners

Provide ongoing agile training for team, product owners, developers and testers

Pair with the Product Owner (PO) to write stories at the product level

Keep the backlog for the team groomed and provide recommendations of general updates that could be made (requirement or roadmap level) to the product owner

Subject Matter Expert (SME) of portfolio user stories

Including creating templates for stories

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology or Marketing

4+ years of experience in Agile, Scrum, or related experience

In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Agile, Scrum, or related experience

Nice to have: Agile Scrum Master Certified (CSM) and experience in Azure DevOps, Trello or similar agile management software.

Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud is preferred.

Nice to have: Salesforce Admin certification.
