Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and efficient management of our applications. Your expertise in Azure, DevOps practices, and various programming languages will be critical to our success.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates and Terraform.

Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of Azure resources.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or similar tools.

Ensure smooth deployment of applications across development, testing, and production environments.

Data Management:

Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design and maintain data pipelines.

Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.

Agile Scrum:

Work within an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software.

Programming Languages:

Proficiency in .NET, Java, and Python for scripting and automation tasks.

Familiarity with Angular JS for front-end development.

Security and Monitoring:

Implement security best practices for Azure resources.

Set up monitoring and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data services.

Exposure to data engineering and data management practices.

Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Familiarity with SQL for database management.
