Job Title: School-Based Licensed Independent Social Worker

Location: Worthington, OH

Job Type: Full-Time, 2023-24 School Year

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4:00pm

Caseload: Elementary-Aged Students (Kindergarten and First Grade), 20-40 Students

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to elementary-aged students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social and emotional needs.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans and strategies to support students' social and emotional well-being.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop prehensive support plans.

Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work or related field.

Ohio state licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).

Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and munication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of evidence-based practices in social work and counseling.
