Job Title: Sign Language Interpreter/ASL

Location: Jacksonville, NC

Job Type: Full-time; 37.5 Hours/Week

Responsibilities:

Provide accurate interpretation services between students who use ASL and those who municate verbally, ensuring clear and effective munication.

Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa, conveying messages accurately while maintaining the tone, context, and intent of the original munication.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Deaf Studies, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.

Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification) required.

Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and proficiency in spoken English.
