Our client is one of the Mid-Atlantic's leading General Contractors and offers a rewarding opportunity to lead their healthcare vertical of work in and around the Washington DC DMV as a Senior Superintendent.

Job Description:

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of field operations to help lead high-value healthcare construction projects in and around the Washington DC area. We are looking for an experienced high performer who offers a proven track record of working in healthcare construction and delivering high-quality projects with a stellar safety record.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience working as a Superintendent with a General Contractor to oversee field operations within a healthcare construction setting.

Strong subcontractor relationships.

Experience partnering with PM and Senior PM to review scope, provide technical feedback and help identify scope gaps.

Proven ability to delivery high-quality projects that meet or exceed owner expectations.

Previous working experience with project planning, scheduling, and sequencing.

Knowledge of pull planning and LEAN construction methodologies is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of construction within an occupied setting is helpful.

B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering or similar

CHC and/or ASHE healthcare construction certifications or ability to obtain them.
