Position Title: IT Manager

Reports To: Sr. Project and IT Resources Manager

Position Summary:

The IT Manager oversees the development, procurement, and operation of the Information Technology systems throughout the company.

This is primarily a Support Office role in the organization and requires interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, often managing multiple moving project parts simultaneously. This position will travel to company assets to complete job duties as assigned and may be required to travel regularly and consistently based on a project scope and timeline.

Major Job Responsibilities:

General

· Define, lead, and monitor technology, procure resources, and communicate progress and results to leadership.

· Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

· Design and sign off on agreements and submit those contracts to appropriate stakeholders.

· Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.

· Support the company’s general managers, directors of facilities, and chief engineers in their efforts to protect our owners' technology assets and cybersecurity.

· Identify and implement technological solutions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Information Technology

· Supervise and advise in the selection, implementation, and daily operation of all IT systems, ensuring dependable daily operation.

· Oversee Cybersecurity and PCI Compliance company wide.

· Work closely with all business units, translating their business requirements into technological solutions and ensuring they align with objectives and values.

· Discuss technology goals with leadership and suggest, implement, and manage solutions.

· Manage technology vendor relationships, including selection, integration, daily operation, and billing.

· Utilize the best policy management and communication practices to configure the companies' SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites and other related software.

· Develop recommendations and implement new hardware and software based on organizational needs and technology trends.

· Ensure data integrity and systems security by establishing policies and procedures.

· Provide technical guidance to other significant functions in the organization.

· Provide technology vision and IT leadership for the organization.

· Monitor daily backups for files and servers to ensure completion.

· Review Open IT Tickets with Managed Services Providers and assist as needed.

Skills Required:

· Knowledge of computing and networking hardware and peripheral equipment.

· Knowledge and understanding of physical and virtualized networks.

· Ability to troubleshoot computer systems and equipment problems.

· Strong proficiency level required with MS Office products, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Defender.

· Ability to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.

· Willingness to work with multiple Managed Services Providers.

· Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.

· Microsoft and other IT certifications are a plus but not required.

· Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks.

· Ability to interface with technical and non-technical audiences as well as stakeholders.

· Able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail and a proven ability to analyze and anticipate potential conflicts and resolve them quickly.

· Cost and risk management skills.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
