Accounts Payable Specialist with English and Spanish

And at the European Shared Services Center based in Cornellà de Llobregat, with more than 300 employees, we support the group's various subsidiaries of all Europe and other regions. We have built an outstanding multicultural environment composed by employees of around 30 different nationalities.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with English and Spanish based in Barcelona, to replace a maternity leave.

You will be responsible for timely resolution of vendor/internal discrepancies related to outstanding vendor invoice issues. You will be coordinating and liaising effectively with a wide range of clients including suppliers as well as internal customers from various departments.

As Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:

Investigate and resolve all incoming queries from suppliers, buyers and requisitioners.

Learn complex standard processes and apply those to detailed level problem solving to correctly resolve the query to the satisfaction of the customer.

Reconcile vendor accounts.

Work with various team members and lead new country and process implementations being the experts of your country specifics.

Report and maintain standard business metrics.

Lead new country and process implementations being the experts of their country specifics.

Process IL vendor invoices in SAP.

Backup for other countries depending on language.

You will have:

Fluent in Spanish and English. French is a plus. Any other language will be a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and positive attitude.

Highly organized and task prioritization. Working under time pressure.

IT Knowledge: MS Office. SAP skills (preferably within a MM/FI environment) would be advantageous.

2-3 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in Accounts payable/finance function.

Preferably education in Business Administration or Economics.
