Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing for employees on projects subject to prevailing wage laws. Ensures compliance with regulations, calculates wages, and maintains payroll records.

Responsibilities:

Calculate and process payroll for prevailing wage projects.

Interpret prevailing wage laws and maintain compliance.

Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.

Resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.

Assist with audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications:

Previous payroll experience, preferably in construction or government contracting.

Knowledge of prevailing wage laws and regulations.

Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
