POSITION SUMMARY

The Carrier Relations Consultant role works closely with the Chief Placement Officer to execute key corporate initiatives including enhancing Trading Partner incentive compensation, contributing to client acquisition and retention, enhancing World’s position with key Trading Partners, and direct experienced national and divisional Placement resources to World’s sales and service teams. These responsibilities are varied and include collaborating with World’s Trading Partners and key internal Corporate Function and Practice stakeholders.

Responsibilities include contributing to the implementation and maintenance of new and established procedures to support revenue growth by translating business needs into actionable steps. This role will also advise internal clients on using best practices and embracing corporate initiatives, provide placement and carrier relationship support and track key performance indicators.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor incentive compensation agreements including contingency, profit sharing, overrides, and other supplemental income plans with Trading Partners.

Quantify financial projections of incentive compensation plans based upon the World book of business performance with selected Trading Partners.

Manage the collection of Trading Partner experience reports monthly and organize appropriately.

Interface with network/aggregator facilities and aid with evaluation of economic value of the partnership.

Collaborate with the Licensing and Carrier Administration Teams for matters about Trading Partner contracts, agreements, profiles, addendums, and codes.

Identify, evaluate, and coordinate third-party software platforms.

Assist with preparation of presentations intended for internal and external audiences.

Provide guidance to other team members about best practices and professional standards.

Partner with key stakeholders and platform owners to execute Trading Partner relationship strategies.

Learn how each business segment works and consider ways to improve interaction amongst stakeholders.

Create and publish communications to inform associates and document enhancements to business processes.

Support CPO in executing corporate strategies across the enterprise.

WORK EXPERIENCE/JOB QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years of insurance industry experience

COMPUTER SOFTWARE SKILLS

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION

Business, finance, accounting, or data science degree from an accredited institution
