Summary:
The Enhancement Manager oversees the foremen and crews working on enhancement projects, the irrigation department, fertilization department, and bed maintenance department.
Essential Functions:

Oversee and direct landscape enhancement projects
Explain blueprints to foremen and crew
Liaison between crew, foreman, customer and sales manager
Ensures each projects is completed on time and within budget
Trains crew on enhancement projects and tools
Trains crews on safety issues
Meet daily with crews and foremen to check on status of projects
Drive to sites and deliver supplies
Assist crew and foreman at sites when needed
Make sure crew is using LMN correctly
Make sure job is entered into LMN correctly
Approve LMN timesheets
Provide employee mentoring, coaching and discipline when needed
Attend regular Production/Operations meetings
Assist with inventory of supplies and equipment
Plan and review irrigation routes and schedules
Train irrigation staff
Respond to irrigation quality control issues
Plan fertilization route
Oversee fertilization tech
Plan bed maintenance route
Oversee bed maintenance department

Supervisory Responsibility:
People: This position oversees the enhancement foremen crews, the fertilization department, and the bed maintenance department.
Processes: This position oversees projects from start to finish and plans routes.
Work Environment:
The majority of the work is done outside. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
This position requires the use of safety equipment such as but not limited to ear protection, gloves, eye protection, etc.
Indoor work will be in an office environment or in a shop setting. While in the shop setting they can be exposed to loud noises, fumes and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to frequently lift 50 pounds of weight throughout the assigned workday.Requirements:
Required Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Experience in managing a crew of laborers. Previous landscaping experience of 5 plus years. Must have irrigation and fertilization knowledge.
Eligibility Qualifications:
Required: valid Chauffeur’s license, State of Michigan Fertilizer and Pesticide licenses
Preferred: CDL License, LIC (Landscape Industry Certified)
