Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Create procedures and policies to establish month reporting of KPIs to the company's leadership team.

Create full reports using various data visualization techniques on areas of vulnerability, inefficiency, and opportunities for improvement.

Lead significant initiatives targeting new procedures but not limited to:

New manufacturers, logistics and transportation options, and procurement arrangements.

Collect data on inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts to analyze supply chain operations.

Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance, identifying alternatives, and developing contingency plans.

Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in supplier selection, contracting, and sourcing.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes.

Provide recommendations to senior management on supply chain optimization and strategy, based on data analysis and market insights.

Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: BS in Business related field.

Years of Experience: Five years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

A solid understanding of all steps from procurement to payment (requisition, approval, terms, purchase order, receipt, and billing); understand the sourcing related steps (requirements, analysis, strategy planning, vendor selection, execution, contract).

Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and practices.

Organized, detail and customer-oriented, and dependable.

Effective analytical, oral, and written communication skills for internal customers/vendor relations and interfaces.

Experience with Microsoft Navision and Microsoft Office packages.

Ability to work in dynamic environment and multitask efficiently.

Experience working with all levels of internal and external customers.

Desired:

Experience with circuit card assembly and electronics

Working knowledge of manufacturing process flow
