Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-orientedPicker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution center and possess strong organizational skills. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.

Responsibilities:

Utilize picking lists or electronic scanning devices to locate and pick items from designated locations in the warehouse.

Ensure accuracy by verifying product codes, quantities, and quality before packing orders for shipment.

Package items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation.

Label packages with the appropriate shipping information and ensure they are properly routed for delivery.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar role preferred.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret product codes and labels.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
