Job Description
Fourth Trimester Postnatal Retreat, envisioned and created by a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and her husband, is a luxury retreat for new mothers and their infants to heal, rest, and learn before beginning their parenthood journey at home. We have created a unique experience for new parents and their babies where lactation consultants, postpartum doulas, infant care specialists and mental health therapists, among other postnatal medical professionals, can provide round-the-clock care for mothers immediately following hospital discharge. Our goal is to help prepare new parents for what’s to come and allow mothers to begin physically and mentally healing from pregnancy & birth before going home. We also provide a 4T at Home Experience for new parents and babies who are unable to take advantage of the residential retreat environment, or who would like to extend services after the retreat.
As we complete staffing for our Retreat and At-Home experiences, we’re hiring PRN Infant Care Specialists to join our team of professionals. Working closely with new parents and infants, our Infant Care Specialists are responsible for the daily needs of mother and baby, providing a safe and calm setting for new mothers to rest and recover, and helping to create a clean and healthy environment for infants to thrive in their first few days of postpartum life! This position is ideal for both skilled caregivers and those newer to the field, as we will provide on-the-job training and education opportunities from our medical professionals and collaborators.

Work with parents in a retreat-style setting to create and implement a care plan for the duration of stay and afterward
Work with guests to create a schedule that enhances bonding, care, and rest

Prepare rooms for new guests including restocking, cleaning, and organization
Escalate any guest needs that are outside of the scope of the Doula/Infant Care Specialist/lactation consultant
Other duties as assigned by medical professionals and management
