Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painting Estimator to join our team. As a Painting Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing painting projects, providing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with clients to ensure their needs are met within budget and timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of painting techniques, materials, and industry standards, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct on-site assessments of painting projects to determine scope of work, materials required, and project timelines.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.

- Present estimates to clients in a clear and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and agreement.

- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate implementation of project plans and timelines.

- Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new painting technologies to provide competitive and innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Painting Estimator or similar role in the painting industry.

- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam).

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate accurate cost estimates.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Certified Estimating Professional) are a plus.Company Description
