DOC is looking to fill Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position for our pain management doctor available in Las Vegas, NV. This position comes with a competitive salary and excellent benefits!

One opportunity is to work directly with a physician who is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced clinical environment and ability to work well within a team is a must.

Education and Experience:

Must be certified or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner, and eligible for prescriptive authority in the State of Nevada. Orthopaedic background preferred.

Duties:

- Perform comprehensive physical examinations on patients

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, and medical imaging

- Prescribe medications and other treatments

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Utilize utilization management techniques to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources

Qualifications:

Must Be: Team-player, impeccably reliable, motivated, hard-working, and punctual.

Willing to take notes, study, and learn to treat patients with the highest level of care.

Able to work in a high-volume and fast-paced clinic environment.

Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and medical staff.

Ability to work collaboratively in our team, including other team midlevel providers, medical assistants, and the physician.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant software.

Current state licensure.

Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or similar.
