Job Description

Let It Grow, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time skilled carpenter who has experience in commercial and/or residential construction. This role will help to support our construction division. We prefer highly qualified, motivated candidates who will work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing carpentry responsibilities with assistance from the Superintendent and the Project Manager.

The Minimum Requirements for a Carpenter position are below:

Minimum Requirements For Carpenter:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction and or landscaping

OSHA 30 is highly preferred

40 HR SST is highly preferred

Must speak and understand English

Having a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

A personal vehicle is a MAJOR plus to get to the facility/job site

We WILL hire skilled labor without a driver's license, but they must be legal to work in the USA

Must have a social security number and card

Duties And Responsibility:

Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.

Fits and installs window frames, door frames, door hardware, and interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and laser levels.

Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.

Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine the dimensions and materials required.

Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.

Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.

Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.

Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace them using hand tools.

Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.

Moves necessary materials around the job site as assigned.

Cleans up worksite debris.
