Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Center Dispatch Assistant to work side-by-side with our Central Dispatch Manager to assists in coordinating all aspects of logistics for our Trucking Division.

LOCATION: Hudson, NH (onsite)

SALARY: $22 - $28/hourly DOE

HOURS: M-F 6:00AM - 3PM

Overtime: Available

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Communicate with production coordinator on scheduled projects completion dates.

Communicate with customer on required delivery dates and delivery location. Maintain communication with customer up to and during delivery of project.

Review approved layout drawings to determine number of loads and how product will be positioned on trailer.

Coordinate delivery sequence and dates with yard crew both verbally and with prepared load schedule paperwork.

Prepare and maintain all documents (pack slips, C.O.C's) to be given to drivers for their respective loads.

Coordinate with various state agencies on delivery dates and provide necessary documents required to ship with delivery.

Coordinate with warehouse on materials needed to ship to jobsite.

Assist warehouse with ensuring receivables are delivered to the correct divisions.

Direct all internal and external trucks coming into the proper areas they are required to be in.

Perform cycle counts on inventory stored in yard for both engineered products and manhole divisions.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Experience in logistics or transportation coordination preferred.

Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating delivery dates.

Knowledge of preparing and maintaining shipping documents such as pack slips and certificates of compliance (C.O.C's).

Experience in communicating effectively with production coordinators, customers, drivers, and other relevant parties.

Familiarity with inventory management processes, including conducting cycle counts.

Familiarity with directing incoming trucks to designated areas within a facility.

Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
