Plant Manager

Job Description

Summary:

Lead the development of operations and personnel at the Maryville facility, ensuring all plant performance objectives are met efficiently and in line with quality standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of five years of successful manufacturing management experience, overseeing facilities/plants with 30+ employees.

Experience managing plant financials, budgets, and P&L.

Continuous improvement experience including 5S and conducting improvement workshops (Kaizen).

In-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).

Occasional travel required.

Comfortable working in various plant environments (hot, noisy, dirty) with exposure to carbon black.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to optimize plant performance.

Experience with safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Proficiency in utilizing information systems for plant management.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for all aspects of plant performance, ensuring objectives are met cost-effectively and in accordance with quality requirements.

Lead initiatives to improve safety, manufacturing processes, logistics, accounting, information systems, human resources, and materials management.

Drive continuous improvement efforts through implementation of methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen workshops.

Manage plant financials, budgets, and P&L, optimizing resource allocation.

Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of plant activities with organizational goals.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
