Job Purpose:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all Saxbys cafe construction projects are completed on time, on budget and in a collaborative and harmonious manner that satisfies all stakeholders.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head of Design & Construction to provide pre-construction capital estimates as needed for projects
Manage bid process for all projects
Identify and communicate opportunities to improve project efficiencies, reduce cost and improve timelines
Collaborate with the Head of Design & Construction to value engineer projects as needed
Review and facilitate external review of all shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals necessary to complete any project
Attend and manage regular project status calls with with internal and external partners throughout the project
Visit project sites regularly and as needed from pre-construction through project completion
Partner with Operations to ensure a successful turnover that matches the communicated expectations
Build, maintain, and report on project schedules as well as master schedules inclusive of all projects. Adjust schedules and communicate changes, on a regular basis, as timelines change.
Work with preferred vendors to purchase owner supplied FF&E and finishes for all projects as needed
Become the subject matter expert on Saxbys equipment package
Field and respond to any equipment related questions, engineers, architects, contractors, or installers may have prior to or during the projects
Approach all projects proactively and with flexibility to adapt to dynamic requirements
Attend all pre-opening health inspections, collaborate with Product, Accounting & Operations teams to complete all health department punch lists prior to opening
Create punch lists and close out all projects
End to end management of any cafe renovation or large scale repair projects that may arise Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in construction management or as project architect
Construction experience in food & beverage preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience with Monday.com, Airtable and Gantt preferred
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Valid driver's license
Physical requirements:
Able to stand, walk, and smile for extended periods of time
Able to stoop and kneel
Push, pull, lift or carry up to 35 lbs
Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps
