Job Title: Head of Sales - Supply Chain Consulting

Location: USA - Remote

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Head of Sales - Supply Chain Consulting to join our team in the supply chain consulting division. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for the division. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies that meet revenue targets and ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will also be responsible for building and managing the strategic account program and identifying new business opportunities to expand our client base.

Responsibilities:

Sales Team Management and Reporting with the ability to:

Develop, execute, and communicate sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive customer satisfaction, based on market research and competitor analysis

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize revenue growth

Set pipeline review expectations and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement utilizing an optimal sales force structure for national support

Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals and objectives

Build, develop and influence (indirectly manage) sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives

Regularly report on sales activity and results to leadership

Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions Business Development and Account Management

Directly influence sales, typically to large, complex, multi-regional or strategic clients

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and participate in closing strategic opportunities

Drive regional strategic account management activities and results

Identify new business opportunities to expand the company's client base

Travel for in-person meetings with key customers and partners, staff and to develop key relationships

Assist with negotiation, review and approval of client contract documents Process, Development, and Enablement

Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required

Directly implement and execute sales policies and practices

Ensure communications are coordinated and support sales plan objectives

Participate in the growth and career development of current and future sales personnel in the region through recruitment and selection of staff, delivery of training programs, mentoring, coaching and other means to ensure that we are developing existing and growing future sellers in the business

Work closely with the marketing function to establish and implement a consolidated marketing plan for the organization

Drive development, execution and participation in marketing campaigns

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of sales and marketing efforts To be successful in the role, you will have:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in sales management in professional services industry and Supply Chain sales experience

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns

Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy and tell the story of our value

Ability to guide, mentor, and manage sales representatives, including ongoing training

The salary for this position can range from $113,600 to $156,200 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
