Mechanical Assembly

H2O Innovation is calling all mechanically inclined people who love working on a broad range of projects, the Mechanical Assembly position is for you. Our next colleague will hold a permanent & full-time position at the Champlin, MN plant. You will be asked to perform a wide variety of assembly tasks and will learn maintenance technician and millwright skills.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Mechanically assemble pipes, equipment, instruments, and valves to frame structures with fasteners ranging from 10-32 to 1” diameter bolts and equipment up to 50 lbs;

Glue PVC pipe assemblies ranging from ” to 12” pipe diameter;

Measure, cut, drill, and tap steel frames and PVC pipes;

Cut & thread stainless steel pipe;

Respect the project timeline;

Ensure a good quality product by using your attention to detail;

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;

Respect and follow safety regulations. THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Three (3) years of related work experience;

Ability to read technical plans;

Personal tools is a plus, but not a must;

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous;

Be organized, rigorous and meticulous;

Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients. THE BENEFITS:
