Position Title: Maintenance Manager: Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler and Electrical

Summary: Provide expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Systems to manage infrastructure maintenance, collaborate on diverse projects, and provide 24/7 emergency response for comprehensive facility oversight.

Qualifications:

Prior to employment, the following must be addressed:

Requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when dealing with certain chemicals or situations Responsibilities:

Manage the preventive maintenance (PM), repairs, and operation of mechanical systems including HVAC, boiler, and elevator/lift systems in multiple school buildings.

Develop and implement emergency response procedures for mechanical and electrical systems, including being on-call 24/7 for emergencies.

Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and implement preventative maintenance measures for mechanical and electrical systems.

Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs, installations, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems as required.

Coordinate with school administrators to communicate about services and maintenance schedules.

Develop and implement emergency response procedures for mechanical and electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards for mechanical and electrical systems.

Collaborate with other Facilities Managers to ensure all aspects of facility management are covered and provide support in covering responsibilities such as millwork, carpentry, and other facility related items when needed.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Qualifications:

Prior experience in facilities management, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.

Knowledge of HVAC, boiler, elevator/lift systems, and other mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in school buildings.

HVAC and/or boiler licenses are advantageous.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, contractors, and vendors.

Reports to: Sr. Director & Director of Facilities

Terms of Employment: 12 Month Employee
