Position Summary:
We are seeking an INSIDE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT sales specialist for our team. The sales specialist is a new position and will be a valuable member of our business development team. The person will be responsible for generating new sales within the federal government market segments. The Sales specialist must have experience selling the Federal Government customers, responding to RFP, RFI & RFQ as well as responding to Task Order Proposal Requests (TOPR).
This position reports to the Director of Business Development, DBM
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Screening incoming opportunities, qualify and report findings to the DBM, Using GSA/ EBUY, GOVWIN, FEDBiD….etc.
Participate in proposal preparation, writing and submitting as needed or other documents describing company services in response to requests from prospective clients
Identify and qualify upcoming solicitations, task Orders, and new business opportunities, and maintain pipeline within the scope of the company’s existing capture management displace
Provide inside sales support for the business development effort within the company, for GSA solicitations, Qualifications Required
2-3 years minimum experience selling services to the Federal Government
Experience in responding to RFI, RFP and RFQ
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as general technical knowledge of current technologies
Provin ability to handle all processes of sales cycle from lead generation. Progression to close deals, set up meetings for the BDM team, articulate value proposition, build coats, write proposals. Preferred
Experience working for a small company
Existing contacts/ network
Knowledge of sales methodology
