Position Purpose: The Components Program Manager II will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement product initiatives. You will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Pay Range: $100,000 - $175,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Demonstrated Program Manager responsibility for Space hardware for Commercial, Defense, Restricted, or NASA customers

Experience with all phases of the product life cycle (business development, concept formulation, requirements flow-down, manufacturing, integration and test, and post-delivery support)

Lead proposal activities and facilitate technical exchanges with the engineering team

System design experience, balancing performance, emerging technologies, schedule, risk, and cost

Ability to perform trade studies and parametric analyses

Evaluation of existing and emerging technologies

Ability to develop, review and negotiate procurement documents (specification, SOW) and manage subcontracts

Work closely with customers to help refine their needs and provide innovative and competitive solutions with existing products

Execute flight contracts that meet technical and cost obligations

Work closely with other contractors/teammates in meeting customer needs

Collaborate closely with Technical program leads and diverse domain expertise

Allocate driving requirements (both cost and technical)

Allocate key trades (both cost and technical)

Ensure all business is conducted using the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives

Good documentation and communication skills, with strong attention to detail

Other responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications/Education:

5-10 years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline

Strong systems engineering and technical management skills

Demonstrated ability to grow new business opportunities and execute demanding flight contracts

Ability to work effectively in rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large engineering teams

Previous experience and skills in project definition, simulation, implementation, lab integration and test

Must be able to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with emphasis in rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities

Demonstrated leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
