TITLE: Mechanical Assembler

TYPE: Direct Hire

LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN

ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Onsite

SHIFT: 1st Shift, M-F

Responsible for assembling a variety of finished products utilizing written process procedures, blueprints, schematics, and job experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble standard and modified cabinets utilizing written procedures, BOMs, blueprints, and basic hand/power tools.

Able to understand and read engineering drawings and modifications.

Primarily mechanical assembly, some electrical connections as needed.

Working knowledge of mechanical tools used in the assembly process.

Inspects and tests completed products or sub-assemblies.

Aid machine operators as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a high school education.

3+ years of prior mechanical assembly experience in a similar setting.

Must be able to read and interpret schematics and drawings.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Must be able to use measuring tools.

Forklift operation experience is ideal but not required.
