30+ year established Interiors General Contractor seeking to hire an APM

Your new company:

An MD based general contractor are looking to hire a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to join their project management team. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career by joining a company with a superb track record of developing talent from within, as well as the chance to work on high-profile construction projects. 30+ years of experience, this general contractor is seeking professionals who have recently graduated from college or have 1 year of construction work experience.

Your new role:

As a Project Engineer you will provide project management support to the Project Management team. The projects that you will be working on would primarily be interior renovation projects across the DMV area. The size of projects usually range in between $200k - $5m but the majority of work sits between $1m - $5m range. Some clients you will be working with include but not limited to: Marriott, CBRE, & Skanska. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, procurement and cost controls; as well as the management of RFI's, submittals and change orders.

What you'll need to succeed:

To be successful in this Project Engineer role, you will have 6 months - 1 year of experience working in the construction industry as a Field or Project Engineer. You preferably will have working knowledge in Procore.
